AGROPET® is a high-tenacity polyester (PET) monofilament made in Pego (Alicante) by Textil Villa de Pego, with decades of experience in technical yarn spinning.
The material
A high-tenacity polyester monofilament
It replaces galvanised wire in any agricultural structure: tensioned with the same tools (gripples, pulleys, strainers), tied by hand and resilient outdoors for years without rusting or losing tension.
- Electrical insulator: protects crops and people — zero electrical hazard.
- Immune to corrosion: fertilisers, crop-protection chemicals and salt air cause no damage.
- Light and safe: 5 times lighter than steel, will not cut your hands.
- Weatherproof: UV-resistant and rated from −40 °C to +70 °C.
- 100 % recyclable at end of service life.
